郷土資料室｜Local Heritage Exhibition

　水資源に恵まれた昭島の地は、豊かな自然と共に、古来より多様な歴史・文化が育まれてきました。昭島市郷土資料室では、昭島の歩みに想いをはせていただけるような資料展示に加え、ICTを活用した展示を行っています。
Blessed with abundant water resources and nature, Akishima has nurtured diverse history and culture since ancient times. This exhibition hall features the local artifacts and works that reflect the history of Akishima, taking an ICT approach as well.

　これまでの昭島市郷土資料室だより「鯨～いさな～」をダウンロードできます。
　「いさな」は、万葉集にもみられるクジラの古い呼び方で、来場者・スタッフによる投票で郷土資料室だよりのタイトルに選ばれました。
　本誌では、季節ごとに、学芸員が様々なトピックをご紹介していきます。ぜひお楽しみください。

The title of the newsletters was chosen by vote of the exhibition visitors and staff. The word 'isana' is an ancient name for a whale, and can be seen in Man'yoshu (ancient anthology of Japanese poems).
